The Veneto Region has assigned Veneto Agricoltura to manage all activities connected to forestry conservation and the environment.
The administered areas include more than 15.000 ha of land, most of which is of great natural beauty and environmental interest. These areas include Cansiglio, the forests of Monte Baldo and Giazza, the Vallevecchia Lagoon as well as  the integral natural reserves of Bosco Nordio and Bocche di Po.
The educational programs and the promotion of environmentally compatible recreational events are among the many activities Veneto Agricoltura is involved in to help preserve the natural and anthrophological resources of the territory.
The Environmental Educational Unit of Veneto Agricoltura fosters an ecological awareness of the environment that encourages an attitude that is both appreciative and responsible.

Activities:
· The planning, management and maintenance of nature preserves, tourist facilities such as visitor centres, museums, botanical gardens, footpaths and cycle routes;
· Creating educational materials such as guide books, cds and dvds, posters, itineraries etc. for visitors;
· Devising and promoting educational programs and activities for schools which include classroom activities as well as guided tours, Festivals of Trees, recreational events.
