Nelle seguenti schede vengono riassunti i risultati ottenuti nei confronti varietali di Poinsettia presso il Centro sperimentale per l’Ortofloricoltura “Po di Tramontana” .
Lo scopo di tali schede non è offrire una conoscenza assoluta delle varietà, ben consapevoli che i risultati possono cambiare anche in modo sostanziale nei diversi ambienti e con le diverse tecniche, ma condividere con gli operatori del settore le esperienze maturate nel tempo su questa specie. Le caratteristiche delle cultivar riportate nelle schede specifiche (per tutti gli aspetti presi in considerazione) sono riassuntive di quanto osservato in tutti gli anni in cui la varietà è stata testata. Ne consegue che tali note sono da considerarsi tanto più affidabili quanti più anni la varietà è stata testata, e sicuramente solo indicative per le novità. Particolarità e differenze importanti emerse nei singoli anni vengono segnalate ove ritenuto necessario.
